Do you know Jack? You soon will.

A couple of Souper Reviews’ good friends have launched a new venture and anyone taking to the streets of central Edinburgh won’t have failed to notice the sleek white frontage of the city’s latest eatery, Illegal Jack’s. The South West grill serves up authentic Tex Mex, burritos, buffalo wings, fajitas and quesadillas to sit in or take away.

Soup not your thing? Fair enough (I guess). Perhaps you’re tired of your usual high street mayonnaise soaked sandwich, Souper Review knows where you’re coming from.

Tin foil time! Jack’s speciality, the burrito, is a little tin foil ball of joy. Unravelling the foil reveals a big old freshly steamed tortilla filled with all kinds of goodness. Grilled chicken or beef rubs up against, rice, black beans, salsa and Monterey Jack cheese and if that’s not enough then a healthy dollop of guacamole should send you into South West heaven.

Get down there now to see what all the excitement is about or join the facebook group to hear more from the boys named Jack.
